Adamaunt Diamonds is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Americas-Diamonds.com collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
Order & Inquiries
We request information from the user on during the process of ordering and inquiry forms. Here is where a user must provide their contact information, like name and shipping address, and financial information, like credit card number and expiration date. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill the customer’s order. If we have difficulty processing an order, this contact information is used to communicate with the customer.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. We use both session and persistent cookies. Usage of a cookie from our site is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information. Americas-Diamonds.com takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via our website, your information is protected both online and off-line.
Sales
Adamaunt provides a seven day “inspection period” to all of our clients who have purchased goods “sight unseen” and received them in the mail. The seven days begins the day that the item is delivered to customers requested delivery address. The reason we provide this inspection period is so that clients have ample time to examine pieces in order to insure that the diamonds/jewelry meet agreed upon expectations. Adamaunt understands these expectations to be delineated through images, email, phone conversations and any and all other forms of communication exchanged during the sales process between Adamaunt and the client to determine diamond and jewelry specifics including prices.
All custom built, or built to order pieces are returnable/exchangeable if and only if the correspondence including pictures, images and language significantly differ from finished piece received in the mail. Under no circumstance is Adamaunt or its affiliates liable for “change in taste” or dissatisfaction in finished pieces on the part of clients if a great discrepancy between sale correspondence and the finished pieces does not appear to exist in the opinion of Adamaunt and its partners and affiliates.
At no time is Adamaunt or its affiliates responsible for certified diamonds not meeting client expectations. GIA, EGL USA or EGL European, AGS or other independently graded diamonds OR diamonds that are uncertified but that match in quality the grading standards of these independent grading companies which clients agree to buy as noted during correspondence is solely the responsibility of the client. If and only if the diamond does not match the independent grading company’s certification specifics will Adamaunt consider a replacement diamond or refund. Clients agree when buying through Adamaunt or Adamaunt affiliates site unseen that they are assuming responsibility and acknowledge all related risks pertaining to diamonds, diamond certifications and the various implications of buying diamonds based on independent grading companies’ grading standards. If you have any questions at all about certification standards, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Clients agree by purchasing from Adamaunt or Adamaunt affiliates that neither Adamaunt nor its affiliates are responsible for discrepancy in grading standards of independent diamond grading companies. By purchasing sight unseen by way of independently graded diamond reports or images, you agree that if the diamond matches the Diamond certification that you initially used to determine diamond quality, you, the client, are responsible for the stone.
